Alastair is not just a Partner at Rise, he is a foundational member, having joined David D’Eredita in the first few months after founding. His character, passion for education, and professional acumen have been crucial in shaping Rise and fulfilling our commitments to improving Client’s lives.
Before joining Rise, Alastair built his career at both independent firms and large institutions, including Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and PNC Investments. These roles gave him valuable experience and lasting professional relationships, but they also revealed a disconnect between big-firm priorities and the personal, unbiased guidance clients deserve. Seeking an environment where relationships come first, Alastair was drawn to Rise. Here, he found a firm aligned with his belief that the measure of success lies in the quality of each client relationship, not the number of accounts.
Alastair graduated from West Virginia University. He has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. His other professional accreditations include Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®). He holds Series 7 & 66 Securities licenses, and his Life & Health Insurance license. Alastair is also a notary public commissioned in the state of Arizona.
A Few Words from Alastair…
I began in this career focused on excelling at customer service. I have found that the best way to continue to deliver on that value is simple – say what you are going to do and do that. In work and in life, I get the most out of helping others; this is what continues to drive me to help as many families and businesses as I can with various aspects of planning and wealth management.
Since my wife, Beth, finished her Master’s degree at the University of Arizona and began working in our school district, we are in a constant state of motion figuring out each day’s logistics to support and nurture our eldest son Nick, and our triplets: Jaxon, Harrison, and Olivia. When I am not working, I love spending time with my wife, hiking, swimming, and coaching/playing soccer with the kids, or pretending to be a hungry giant chasing the little ones in circles around the house.
